CalBank PLC, one of Ghana's leading commercial banks, is recruiting a Financial Analyst to join the Finance & Strategy division. You will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis to support the bank's growth strategy.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and regulatory bodies

Develop and maintain financial models for business planning, scenario analysis, and investment appraisal

Analyse branch and product profitability to inform strategic resource allocation

Support the annual budgeting process and rolling forecast updates

Monitor key financial metrics and flag variances with recommended corrective actions

Prepare board papers and management presentations on financial performance

Assist with regulatory reporting requirements to the Bank of Ghana

Collaborate with business units to evaluate new product proposals and revenue projections

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Professional qualification or progress towards ACCA, CFA, or CIMA

3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within banking or financial services

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling

Experience with banking regulatory reporting (Bank of Ghana requirements)

Strong understanding of IFRS standards

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly
